Thanks to the East-West orientation and the position of the villages, lying on the top of southern slope of the mountain, Onsernone Valley is particularly sunny, especially in winter.

On the shortest day of the year, the sun shines up to 7 hours.

That climate, specially mild, is reflected by the vegetation and also by the Mediterranean in spite of the altitude of 600 - 900 meters. A panorama is characterized by the palms, the vineyards, the mimosas, the fig trees, the cactus and naturally the chestnut trees everywhere.
